ANOTHER option for your own stars!

If you’re finding it hard to order star paper online, or want to try something a bit more creative, you can use Lauren’s patterns. Here’s a note she sent me:

i just got into making paper stars and i used your template for the paper strips for people who can’t order them, and i sort of made some colorful strips. i wanted to know if you could maybe put them on your site? i’m also willing to make custom strips for people. you can put my contact info up if you want

email – laurenator94@gmail.com

and here’s the URL for the patterns

Don’t buy from toytogo – opane is better!

After two issues with ToyToGo and none from “Opane”:http://www.opane.com, I have to recommend them instead!
Opane has the same paper, same variety (they even have Hello Kitty stuff like TTG), same prices and better shipping, you can’t lose.

Still not convinced? Try both of them, and leave me a comment. I’m always looking for new paper sources, so give a shout out to anyone you know selling this great stuff!

Still not sure how to make a star? “Watch me making one”:http://www.foldastar.com/video-of-how-to-make-an-origami-star/ and you should be well on your way.

Too Cheap to order paper?

Too cheap to buy paper? Sick of ToyToGo (a post coming soon about how you shouldn’t order from them!)? Want to play with stars, but not wait for your order?

Make your own! This comes from a reader – alecks. Print out, cut it up, fold a star!

I’d suggest using a paper cutter if you have it – otherwise, have REALLY steady hands!

Carley’s Stars

After Carley left a “comment”:http://www.foldastar.com/welcome-to-fold-a-star/#comment-3, I just had to find out more!
Turns out she’s an avid star maker too. Here’s some pictures of her project! (Video coming soon of how she folds her stars):

Video of how to make an origami star

Here’s a video I just made of me making an origami star. If you have any questions about any steps, or where to buy origami star paper, just ask.

This was shot with my MacBook!

Let me know what you think!
